The Ministry of Justice and Digital Affairs publishes the statistics and interactive dashboards relating to criminal justice, quarterly lobbying data summaries and the results of annual victim surveys.

First half-year crime statistics

13 792 crimes were registered during the 1st half-year of 2025, which is 2% less when compared to the same time period in 2024.

Violence offences

There were 6718 registrered violence offences in 2025, which is 4 percent less than in 2024.

Offences against property

The number of offences against property has gone up 2% compared to 2024.

Theft

There were 10690 registered thefts in 2025, which is 6% more than in 2024.

Traffic Offences

The number of traffic offences was 2568, in the same time period in 2024 the number was 2714.

Fraud

The number of registered fraud crimes has decreased compared to last year (2025: 3423; 2024: 3659)

Overview of Lobby Meetings

Meetings held

In the first quarter of 2026, there were 385 meetings held with lobbyists.

Government institutions

The Ministry of Climate has published the most lobby meetings (88), followed by the Ministry of Social Affairs (35) and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications (34).

Government officials

Out of all government officials who met with lobbyists, Karmen Joller (29 meetings), Liis Paas (22) and Gea Otsa (18) were lobbied the most.

Most active lobbyists

The most active lobbyists last quarter were The Estonian Private Forest Union (8 meetings) and Bolt Technology, Estonian Association of Information Technology and Telecommunications, Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (7 meetings each).
